As we talked above that

There is nearly no processing done in brown rice so, it naturally contains many beneficial, nutritious elements save in their very own form which is raw form.

And at the same time hold the richness of many crucial and must minerals so, the vitamins as well.

Brown rice is rich in fiber which is the rudimentary and ultimate cause of simple and smooth digestion and the presence of many antioxidant elements makes it time-effective.

Where on the other side white rice lack many of the aforesaid qualities due to the processing.

But being rice is a rich source of carbs and many empty calories and contains minerals and vitamins as well but not in that surplus amount as in brown rice.

When it comes to the most rudimentary need

i.e. WEIGHTLOSS-

As many a times it is suggest to choose brown rice over white for fat loss

because its glycemic index is low as in that of white rice and is a very rich source of healthy fibers.

Now let’s take a look what actually the glycemic index is-

A numeric figure denotes the relative functioning of the carbohydrate food as per the increasing level of glucose in the blood.

Further, to cut the long story short

The thump advise is-

Higher the glycemic index of a food item less healthy it is for the body goals and vice versa.

So, can conclude that the glycemic index is inversely proportional to the healthiness of a product.

the benefit of a low glycemic index is it will resist the storage of fat and releasement of sugar and carbs.

White rice is slightly high in terms of the glycemic index. Approximately 1.5% higher (taking 100 as a base).

Okay I think it’s high time to break the myth-

When we tend to measure glycemic index we only measure the glycemic index of a particular food item.

But when we sit at our dining table to have food do we have only one item to eat at a time?

The answer is obvious” NO”.

Hence when we take white or for that matter brown rice the glycemic index becomes almost negligible or irrelevant because we take many items as a part of our complete diet so, it got balanced with the nutrients(protein, fats, and fiber) served by other food items.

The gist of the whole point:

gist of whole point

No doubt brown rice is rice in a lot more fibers, anti-nutritious elements, minerals, and many more including vitamins.

but,.

Considering the aforesaid fact that we take a whole meal( many other items) as a part of our diet whose nutrients needs to digest as well but with the consumption of rich in fiber Brown Rice the nutrients which are present do not easily digestible by human body as a whole

and at the same time, the plethora of anti-nutrients hamper the digestion of nutrients from other food items as well.

So, to get the benefit of a whole meal you can easily avoid a single food item with a plethora of benefits.

Thanks.
