HOW TO MAKE YOUR DIET PLAN FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Perfect , toned and fit body is everybody’s dream.

And to get that dream comes true you need to keep check weight and do weight loss.

As everything thing take it’s cost.

So, weight loss and getting fit, toned body.

You many herd about dieting right?

What is dieting ?

Dieting is the process by which you keep check on your diet.

Interesting isn’t it?

Here in this article I will be sharing some food items which will insure at proper delivering of essential nutrients in your body and at the same time help in weight loss.

Obviously in an healthy way;

Stick to the basics i.e. our Tradition

As Indians we are blessed with richness of our traditional foods.

And in process to be healthy and fit you need to stick to that fact.

Our traditional food ensure all the health benefits and so ,encourage our optimum health.

Before moving towards what to eat you need to be aware of what foods you are not at all suppose to eat.

  • Totally avoid processed or highly processed food item.
  • Cut down your sugar intake
  • Avoid processed fruit juice
  • Soda
  • Tea with sugar or a glass of milk
  • Lassi as generally it contains sugar…you can replace sugar by jaggery that would be okay.
  • Ketchup
  • Do not eat fat food at all as French fries, chips, burger, noodles etc.
  • Avoid Maida( all purpose or refined flour) also the items made from it like pasta, noodles, cookies , white bread, maggi etc.

  When I say Traditional

A traditional Indian thali serve you with all the required nutrients and at the same time keep check on your weight as well.

It includes diet based on plants which are associated with many benefits .

As lower the risk of any prominent and serious disease like heart disease , cancers etc.

An Indian traditional dishes also known to lower Alzheimer disease.

Indian thali is rich in grains , healthy fats , lots of vegetables ,

And Variety of fruits.

As almost eighty percent of Indian population is of Hindu religion, and per Hinduism all the living beings should be appreciated and valued on a equal merit.

So, they do not prefer eating non veg foods.

As the lacto-vegetarian diet encouraged by Hindus include lentils, grains, fruits, dairy vegetables, also dairy products and heathy fats like mustard oil or coconut oil.

Species used while cooking like;

Turmeric , coriander, cumin, ginger which does not only enhanced the rich flavour but also has a lot many nutritious benefits.

As they are known for their anti-inflammatory , anti- cancer and anti- bacterial properties.

 Hence we can conclude from above that

A Indian diet ensures versatile form nutrients , healthy fats etc.

What you are suppose to eat

Indian foods include many versatile taste rich in essential nutrients like;

  • Nuts
  • Grains
  • Fruits
  • Leafy vegetables
  • Dairy products
  • Heathy fats
  • Spices and herbs
  • Protein rich diet
  • Legumes …etc.

Vegetables include like mushrooms , tomatoes , potatoes, cabbage , cauliflower, lemon, ladyfinger, bitter gourd , French beans, ridge gourd, green leafy vegetables such as spinach, fenugreek, aubergine or eggplant, pumpkin etc.

Nuts  include almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, watermelon seeds etc.

Spices and herbs ginger, cumin seeds, garam masala, turmeric , black pepper etc.

Healthy fats include coconut oil , milk, ghee, mustard oil , peanut oil etc.

Dairy products such as yogurt , cheese, fresh milk, ghee etc.

Roots like potatoes, carrots , sweet potatoes, etc.

Legumes black – eyed peas, kidney beans etc.

Fruits such as mango, pomegranate, guava, oranges etc.

Grains like basmati rice, brown rice, millet , corns etc.

 What should you drink

In order loose wait you also must be very aware about what you drink as much as you are concern about what to eat.

  • Drink atleast 4-5 liters of water per day
  • Sparkling water
  • Tea without sugar
  • Natural fruit juice etc.

Healthy menu

A daily healthy menu you need to follow ;

Morning breakfast- boiled chana, garnished with onion and masala, idli sambhar, dosa, dalia, glass of milk, spinach and green vegetables paratha, fruits, uttapam etc.

Afternoon- complete traditional diet

In dinnerhave some light dinner like salad , mixed vegetable curry with 2chapaties etc.

Note :

For weight loss and ensure the intake of essential nutrients, healthy fats and protein take proper balanced traditional Indian diet.
