As mutation is the part of evolutionary biology of the virus.
They tend to mutate themselves and here we are more concerned about the mutation of
”Novel corona virus” which is proving much more dangerous and sever to us.
As the virus is mutating it’s form it is becoming more and more complicated for us in order to get the cure of the virus.
The first strain of the virus is not that dangerous but then there was the 2nd stage of the virus which is also as per the science called ‘’ second mutation’’.
According to researchers not all the mutations are harmful ,
Some may go even unnoticed but some on the other hand may make the virus further stronger,
Or can say much more stronger than the previous one.
So, now the situation is really turning into an unpredictable twist in form of the mutation of Covid -19 virus .
Many mutations have been discovered till now;
As in the past year there was a new variant detected by the scientist known as
B.1.617 with two further mutations called
E484Q & L452R.
As per the scientist India is going through the second surge of double mutant stain of virus.
And till now this 2nd wave have prove to us far more dangerous and sever from that of previous one.
Also spreading in much more alarming rate.
It is said that the 3rd wave or strain get to evolve itself from this 2nd mutant .
Even there was triple mutant have been found in some sample collected from regions of Maharashtra, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh & New Delhi.
What does mutation of a virus refer?
The mutation of the virus may sound little frightening but this is just as the next normal thing .
It is the simple and the most common thing which used to happen on a very random and constant basis.
And it becomes more obvious when it comes to the virus which contain their genetic material as RNA , like influenza virus & most common one these days is coronavirus.
All the virus contain genetic material in bundles either in form of RNA or DNA.
And these genetic material posses the protective coating of proteins.
When the aforesaid virus get inside your body through mouth or nose it latches on one of your inner cell (human cell).
By combining or after making a bound with human cell it transfers it’s genetic material i.e. RNA or DNA into human cell.
The moment the RNA or DNA of the virus enters into the human cell it will start making more copies of itself and this way it haijack your cells and then your system ,
Resulting into hindering the proper functioning of the body without being wiped out by immune system.
And can make you really sick.
The error which virus commit in process of coping itself is where the mutation occurs .
So , we can conclude the mutation is the conclusion of the error occur during the copying process.
Scientist say that not all the mutations are harmful but some really get the power to worsen the human system.
What you can do to save yourself;
Look this 2nd wave is spreading on a more alarming rate and making more and more people sick on each passing day .
And the detection of the another 3rd strain has added a fuel to our perplexed and sever situation.
So, you need to more conscious and aware .
Put double mask whenever step out ,
Maintain proper hygiene ,
And at the same time be skeptical about others because you never know that other are totally healthy or not;
Because many a time it has been noticed that this new strain is Asymptomatic and not detectable even after covid test.
Hence you need to be very aware all the time.
Avoid social gathering
And take care of yourself and your family.
Always remember,
Our carelessness is the strength of the virus,
But together , by following all the norms we can fight corona virus and sail trough it.
